It writes the notes for you
The built-in AI reads the transcript and writes it up in the format you picked while you move on to the next thing. Think of it as a notepad that fills itself in.
Currents decide how your notes read.
A current is a note format: what gets pulled out of a meeting, and how it lands on the page. A 1:1 wants commitments. A client call wants objections and next steps. Pick a current before the meeting or apply one after, and the notes come out shaped for the work, not as one generic summary.

Start from a sentence
Describe the format you want, in plain words, and Inkling drafts the current for you. Edit the sections until they match how you think, then save it next to the built-ins.

Sort currents into groups with a pill row across the top. Anchor up to four favorites and they sit at the head of the gallery as wide, featured cards.

It remembers. Then it keeps it all in order.
Notes pile up quickly, and a transcript you cannot find again is worth nothing. So Inkling does the filing too: who was in the room, which project it belongs to, and what was actually said, well enough that a meeting from March is still there in December.
Ask across every meeting at once
Ask a question in plain words: what did we decide about pricing, what did I promise Dan, and Inkling reads back through your meetings to answer it, then shows you which notes it pulled from. Whichever AI you connected does the reading.
Manifest: everyone you meet, gathered up
Inkling builds a contact book out of who was actually in the room, and groups them by company. Open a name and you have every conversation you have ever had with them, in order. It calls this the Manifest.
Spaces and folders that fill themselves in
Keep a space per client, project, or team, with folders inside. Connect a local model and Inkling starts noticing when a new note looks like it belongs in one of them, and offers to file it for you.
Your words and its words, in one page
Type your own shorthand while the meeting runs. Inkling writes into the same page in a lighter tone, so you can always tell which lines are yours. The moment you edit one of its lines, it becomes yours.

The pill stays with you. Minimize mid-meeting and a small capsule floats over whatever you work in next, ink bars moving while it records. One click puts you back in the app.
It knows when to stop. When a recorded meeting's calendar event ends, Inkling says so and stops the recording for you. Keep it running with one click if the conversation is still going.
Your Mac dies mid-call. The recording is finalized anyway. Inkling recovers the audio and the transcript the next time you open it, and the meeting is saved whole.
Search reaches everything. Press ⌘K and search meetings, transcripts, and notes in one dialog. The line you half-remember from three weeks ago takes seconds to find.
Dark mode, designed. A proper dark theme, drawn on purpose rather than inverted, and it follows your system setting.

The app is yours forever
Pay once and Inkling is yours to keep. No renewal, no expiry date, and nothing that stops working if you never spend another cent.
Your first year of updates is included
New features and fixes arrive in the app on their own for a full year after you buy. Nothing to claim, nothing extra to pay.
After that, upgrades are optional
Paid upgrades exist only if the new features appeal to you. Security fixes stay free for everyone, and skipping an upgrade never breaks your app.

Will it run on my Mac?
Inkling needs macOS 13 or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel. The built-in AI runs locally, so you can record, transcribe, and take notes with no internet connection and no API key.
Is this a subscription?
No. Inkling is a one-time purchase. You pay $59 once at launch, the app is yours to keep, and there is no recurring charge of any kind.
What happens after the launch price?
The $59 launch price covers the first 250 customers. After that the price goes to $97. Either way it is one payment, and you keep the app forever.
Do I have to pay for updates?
Your first year of updates is included and arrives in the app automatically. After that, paid upgrades are optional, and only worth taking if new features appeal to you. Security fixes stay free, and skipping an upgrade never breaks your app.
How many Macs can I use it on?
Your purchase covers the Macs you personally use. There are no seat counts or license servers to manage, because there are no accounts to begin with.
Which meeting apps does it work with?
All of them. Inkling captures the audio playing on your Mac together with your microphone, so Zoom, Teams, Meet, a call on speaker, or a room full of people all work the same way. Nothing joins your call and no bot appears in the meeting.
Where do my meetings go?
Nowhere. Recordings, transcripts, and notes stay in plain files on your Mac. With the built-in AI, Inkling makes no outbound connections while it works. The full story lives on the On Your Mac page.
What if I need to reinstall, or lose the download?
Your receipt is your key. You can re-download Inkling any time from the link on your purchase receipt, on a new machine or years later, with nothing to reactivate.
What if it is not for me?
There is a no-quibble refund window after you buy. If Inkling is not right for you, email us and we will refund it.
